Why no lawyer wants to touch ex-minister’s case

A former assistant minister who is facing corruption charges is in a fix after some of the lawyers he had engaged withdrew from the case, citing arrogance and high handedness on his part.
The former MP of a constituency in Nairobi, found himself all alone in court after the lawyers boycotted the case.
His attempts to engage new lawyers seemed to have hit a snag after word spread among the “learned friends” that he has the habit of lecturing his lawyers and reluctance to pay lawyers’ fees.
