Teachers Service Commission replaces six retired school heads

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has replaced six secondary school principals in Nyamira County who retired in June.
TSC County Director Wilson Koros said the changes have also seen a number of deputies being promoted and some principals transferred.
In a circular, the TSC director has directed that the handing over be done between today and next Tuesday.

The changes have seen long-serving Nyanza secondary school Heads Association chair Andrew Gesora Nyakundi who retired as Kebirigo Boys High School Principal being replaced by Ezekiel Kurgat from Kericho.
New principal
St Joseph’s Nyakemicha Mixed Secondary School principal Joseph Arama who also retired, has been replaced by Leonard Murungi Meme from Bomet county.
Okemwa Benford of Kebirichi Secondary School has been replaced by Lilian Okemwa from Kisii County.
Bonyonyu Secondary School has Jared Obwocha from Kisii County as the new principal taking over from Johnson Nyamboga.
Everlyne Omwoyo from Kisii County replaces Stephen Nyabuti at Gucha Secondary School.
Long-serving Gesiaga Mixed Secondary School Principal has been replaced by Zacharia Ondieki from Kisii.
George Morara from St Paul Orotuba has been transferred and his position taken by Okumu Odongo from Busia County.
Zachary Rioba of Nyambiri Secondary has been moved to Kisii and his position taken by Moses Weke from Kisii.
