National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale has asked Kenyans to ignore leaders telling them to either support or ignore the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

Speaking during a funds drive in aid of Bumula constituency muslims  at Kimwanga market yesterday, he said Kenyans should wait for the report to be released adding that they will be given time to read and understand it.

He hinted that President Uhuru Kenyatta could receive the report this week to end speculations, which had engulfed the country.

“The President is likely to receive BBI report this week so let’s wait and stop speculation on whether it is good or not,’’ he said.

Duale who was accompanied by area MP Mwambu Mabonga, Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali and Matungu MP Justus Murunga said Kenyans will either reject or accept the BBI report after going through it.

Mwambu and Washiali took issue with Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula and his ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi for  allegedly dividing the Luhya community.

They said the two embarrassed the community in the recent Kibra by election after they failed to support one candidate with ANC  supporting Eliud Owalo while Wetang’ula backed Khamisi Butichi.
