Somalia hands over terror suspects to Kenya

Somalia has handed over two suspected terror suspects to Kenyan authorities. PHOTO | FILE
Somali security agencies have handed over two terror suspects, Farah Ahamed Sanbul and Mihat Daar Khalif, to the Kenyan authorities.
The suspects who had fled to Somalia were found with three AK-47 rifles, a pistol and 191 rounds of ammunition.
One of the AK47 rifles, serial number KE KP543564, belongs to the Kenya Police Service.

Police Headquarters on Thursday said that there were seven AK-47 rifle magazines, 151 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, 40 rounds of pistol ammunition, calibre 9mm.
The suspects have been transferred to Garissa for further interrogation.
