Sofapaka drops Mohammed pursuit after he demanded Sh7m signing fee

Former Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka have dropped their pursuit for out of contract veteran defender Musa Mohammed after terming his demands as extravagant.
The former Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars captain whose contract with Zambian side Nkana FC elapsed last month, making him a free agent, is believed to have demanded a signing fee of Sh 7 million and a monthly salary of Sh450,000 in order to join the 2009 league winners.
“That is too expensive for a defender who is no longer regular in the national team and also looking at the current hard financial times.
