Tow Cabinet secretaries who had been scheduled to lead government delegation to cheer ELiud Kipchoge in Vienna gave the event a wide berth on learning that another State official had already landed in Austria.

Staff at the Kenyan embassy in Vienna, who had already booked hotels for the CSs, had to convince some governors to take up the rooms so that they could recover the money.
