President Samia Suluhu’s day-1 schedule after arriving in Kenya
Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Tuesday morning arrived in Kenya for her two-day visit.
She was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Foreign Affairs CS Rachael Omamo and Sports CS Amina Mohamed.
The visit follows an invitation by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
What next after arrival?
President Samia will proceed to State House Nairobi where she will be officially welcomed in the country by her host President Uhuru.
She will inspect a guard of honor and will be accorded a 21-gun salute.
From there, she will proceed on bilateral meetings and consultations with President Uhuru together with delegates from the two nations.
The consultations will consume the better time of the day and upon conclusion, she will be hosted for a state dinner by the First lady Her Excellency Margret Kenyatta at State House.
