Politician weeps on live TV to apologise for public funds misuse

In July 2014, a Japanese politician wept uncontrollably during a live press conference as he apologised for misappropriating public funds.
Ryutaro Nonomura went into a meltdown and began wailing and banging his fists on a desk as tears streamed down his face at the press conference.
He was apologising for his suspected misuse of an equivalent of Sh3 million, which he spent on personal travel.

As a result, he went on live TV and broke down in tear, wailed uncontrollably as he repentantly apologised to the nation, before handing his resignation.
