Police have arrested four family members in connection to the Sh72 million StanChart ATM heist in Nairobi West.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) nabbed an Administration Police (AP) officer Simon Gichuhi Karuku near his home in Thogoto, Kiambu County.
Gichuhi was arrested alongside his wife Caroline Njeri, who is also an AP officer.

The two AP officers led the DCI sleuths to Eunice Wangari Karuku, a KDF officer stationed at Kahawa Barracks.
Wangari is a sister to Gichuhi. Gichuhi had allegedly taken some of the stolen money to Wangari for 'safe keeping'.
Wangari led the detectives to another sister called Florence Wanjiru Karuku. Wanjiru is also an AP officer stationed at Githurai Police Post and had allegedly received the money from Wangari.
The arrest of Wanjiru led the detectives to another suspect James Macharia, who is said to be Wanjiru's boyfriend.
Macharia allegedly escaped with the money handed over to him by Simon Gichuhi.
The Karukus are currently held at Lang'ata Police Station.
So far, over 13 suspects have been arrested in connection to the heist.
