Paranoid governor hides in his car

A governor facing corruption allegations is so afraid of being arrested that he recently refused to disembark from his car during a public event.
The man directed his driver to park the vehicle at a distance and stayed put for about an hour as he tried to establish if officers at the event had come for him.
A senior cop approached the governor and informed him the officers were there to secure the event, not arrest him.
The county boss has been walking on eggshells since he was grilled over misappropriation of public funds.
