Tell us who is Mysta Q and what type of music that you do?
Mysta Q is a Kenyan reggae artist and also the lead vocalist at Mysta Q & The Band. Mysta Q is also the CEO of Mysta Q Snacks & Foodstuff. Apart from that Mysta Q is also the founding father of Street Nation Africa an NGO geared towards transforming street urchins in to responsible members of the society.

What is it about music that you love the most. Please tell us about your upcoming projects that we need to know about

I love the power in music. It's the best feeling ever
I am currently doing two albums. I will release the albums early 2021. Keep it locked here always

Who is your inspiration and role model in life?

My inspiration comes from each and every one who makes a positive step that benefits all. My role model is anyone who believes in positivity

Which artist would you say influenced your style of music growing up?

My style of music has been influenced by my surrounding

We have noticed you have a very unique sense of style. How would you describe your sense of style?

I can describe my sense of style as simple and down to earth. Simplicity is what I go for.

Out of all your songs which is your favorite?

All the songs I do are all my favorite. We noticed that you do a lot of reggae music.

Why did you choose this genre?

It's true I do a lot of reggae music. This is because reggae is a culture that cuts across all religions, ages and race. Reggae is livity. Reggae is conscious music

You are among the few artists who will perform at SummerFest. How are you preparing for the performance? How do you usually prepare for performances?

It's really a great honour performing at SummerFest. We are more than ready for the SummerFest concert. We wish it could be a monthly concert or it be held after every quarter of the year.
