MP Ngunjiri Wambugu wants Chebukati kicked out before 2022 polls

Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Wambugu Ngunjiri is now calling for the removal of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati before 2022 general elections.
"We can’t do the next elections with Chebukati in office. Not after what I saw in Kiambaa," he wrote on his Facebook page.
While criticising the IEBC chair for copying members of international community in his reply to a letter from United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to the commission, Wambugu said Kenya was an independent country.
