Meet VDJ Jones ft Juacali, Swat, Odi wa Murang’a
With the ‘new wave’ artistes taking over the Kenyan music industry, not even the industry’s veterans have been spared the euphoria.
The self-proclaimed ‘King of Genge’, Juacali, has been caught up in the whirlwind, thanks to this club banger by VDJ Jones.
Wale Mang’aa is a new project where Jones has teamed up with Juacali and the bad boys of ‘new wave music Swat (from Ethic Entertainment) and Odi wa Murang’a from the Boondocks Gang.
Produced by Mavo on the Beat, this song is on a whole different level. The beats are banging hard and just so irresistible to the ear. The producer was right on point on this one.
The video, shot by Trey Juels, is one that should have come with a ‘PG’ rating. Technically speaking, the video director did some splendid job on the shots, but the ‘gang’ of girls shaking their bums isn’t for every audience out there.
It’s highly in doubt the video will be openly upheld by the mainstream TV stations. Rating: 7/10
