Kisumu All Stars will be looking to beat visiting Fortune Sacco this afternoon in their backyard in the Betika National Super League to earn a premier league promotion play-off slot.

But they will also be hoping for a miracle at Bukhungu in yet another tasty duel between Bullets and ninth placed Mt Kenya United FC where Bullets must fall for All-Stars to rise.

All-Stars lost momentum after falling 2-0 to second-placed Kenya Police last weekend with their immediate challengers winning , thus pushing them to fifth place with 55 points.

The trio of All-Stars, Bullets and Fortune Sacco have played 35 matches apiece and therefore their last two matches will count if well utilised.

All-Stars need two straight wins in their remaining fixtures against fourth-placed Fortune Sacco and in the season ending weekend clash against Mully Children’s Family FC.

Fortune Sacco have been a tad inconsistent and were held to a goalless draw against Murang’a Seal last weekend and thus will be keen to make amends.

Edward Manoah’s Bullets, currently third on 58 points, have been impressive after their 6-0 win over Gusii FC last weekend and a 1-0 victory over Mully Children’s Family before that.

In other matches today,  relegated Soy United will be up against Silibwet Leons at Bomet Stadium. Both sides dropped points at the weekend with Soy going down 0-1 to Mt Kenya United while the Leons tied 0-0 with promoted FC Talanta.
