Kenya records 23 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths

Kenya has confirmed 23 new cases of coronavirus, Health Chief Administrative Secretary announced on Friday.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 781.

Eighteen of the cases are males and five are females.

Of the new cases, eleven are from Nairobi, Mombasa (5), Kajiado (3), Kiambu (2) and Wajir (2).

The cases range between ages 24 years and 85 years.

"We have, however, lost three patients in the past 24 hours," he said.

Total deaths in the country jumps to 45.
