Kananu takes oath of office as Nairobi DG
Anne Kananu has been sworn-in as Nairobi Deputy Governor after being cleared by Members of County Assembly during a special sitting on Friday.
After taking oath of office, Kananu said: "I thank President Kenyatta for showing his faith in me to serve in this position. I affirm my commitment to serve Nairobians with dedication…I commit to cooperate closely with NMS DG Maj. Gen. Badi and the Nairobi County Assembly."
