It’s impossible for Kinoti to continue serving as DCI – Sifuna
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has said it would be difficult for Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to continue serving if he obeyed the court order that sentenced him to four months in jail.
Speaking on Citizen Television, Sifuna expressed concern in the manner in which Kinoti's lawyers handled the matter saying it would be dealt with more seriously.
"The order should have been directed to the firearms body because it is the custodians of guns," he said.

Sifuna added that Kinoti should have returned the firearms to businessman Jimmy Wanjigi to avert the crisis he is in at the moment.
"He sets a very bad precedence. The law in this country should apply equally and it must be respected by all," Sifuna added.
