Irony of detective being conned by operatives
A senior police officer under the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Rift Valley region is said to be a bitter man after he was conned by senior government officials.
The man is said to have approached the officials seeking their intervention to stop his transfer to a county in the North Eastern region.
The officer was assured the little problem would be fixed as long as he was willing to grease a few palms.
But the officials have since declined to pick his calls despite having poicked his money.
The question is, didn’t the detective see it coming?
