Ghana floods kill at least six
At least six people had lost their lives in floods caused by a downpour that hit Ghana's capital, spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) George Ayisah, confirmed on Wednesday.
The victims, including a child, died in Okai-Koi North, a suburb of the capital in the early hours of Tuesday in floods.
"We are yet to arrive at the total financial cost due to the flood," Ayisah told Xinhua.
The NADMO rescue team had rescued 300 people in two of the city's worst-hit areas. (Xinhua)
