Freedom is coming? President Kenyatta gives interesting update on curfew

President Uhuru Kenyatta has given Kenyans a ray of hope for their freedom after hinting that he may soon lift the nationwide curfew.
Speaking at Sagana State Lodge on Monday, October 18, the president said the curfew will soon be lifted but urged Kenyans to continue observing the Covid-19 protocols.
“In the days to come, we will look at it, I’m working, and very soon, you will hear it, I do not want to speak too early but very soon," Uhuru said while responding to calls by area residents who urged him to lift the daily, dusk-to-dawn curfew.

” You need to also protect yourself from the disease, so that when we re-open there are no more deaths, and you will be free to live as you want,” he added.
The president also noted that he was happy to see how Kenyans have been responding to the protocols placed by the Ministry of Health in the fight against Covid-19.
"I am happy these days that you nowadays go home early and you are now procreating," the Head of State said.
President Uhuru's statement comes amid pressure from various leaders for him to fully reopen the economy.
