Former Kilifi South MP dies in Mombasa
Former Kilifi South Member of Parliament Mustafa Idd has died after a short illness.
Idd died on Wednesday morning while receiving treatment for pneumonia at the Premier Hospital in Mombasa.
His brother, Amir Matsaki, told K24 Digital that Idd was diagnosed with pneumonia on Monday, November 23, after being admitted to the facility for ten days.

“His health condition deteriorated over time, and on Tuesday night he was fighting for his life before succumbing to the disease on Wednesday morning,” said Matsaki.
Idd’s body is at the Premier Hospital mortuary in Nyali Constituency.
Idd served as Kilifi South MP between 2013 and 2017.
He belonged to the ODM Party.
