Supporters of Deputy President William in Tran Nzoia have accused Kieni MP Kanini Kega of being used in the dirty schemes that has culminated into the removal of Garisa Town legislator Aden Duale from his plum position of National Assembly majority leader.
The officials of defunct TNA and URP parties that included aspirants for county assembly, senate, national assembly and gubernatorial seats said Kega had been used to spearhead the removal of Duale and warned that the choice will result in consequences.

"Duale was among the most dedicated political heavyweights who tirelessly campaigned for Uhuru day and night, singing UhuRuto all over the country until he almost lost his seat. The move to remove him was misplaced and ill advised," said Engineer Richard Chamonda Chesebe the Trans nzoia Jubilee chairman.
Speaking to the media in Kitale shortly after Duale was removed during the Jubilee Party Parliamentary group meeting, Chesebe said it was very wrong for some people to mislead the party leader to make such moves that would cost the party in future.
