Controversial senator’s Facebook post attracts love, hate

A controversial senator who has been on the grapevines for months was this weekend the talk of town after a Facebook post she put up last year with her photo captioned, "some call it fat, hippo, elephant, disability ... I love it and I am sure many like it” resurfaced attracting both admiration and vitriol.
The photo, which has since gone viral, has attracted 27,000 likes and eight thousand comments.
