Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny in child ‘upkeep’ drama
A woman claiming Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny sired her child caused drama at his Hardy residence on Tuesday night, where she allegedly had gone to demand upkeep.
Police officers on night patrol, who responded to her distress call fired in the air after the woman, identified as Joyline Chemutai, shouted “they want to kill me”.
The officers, after learning that it was a domestic matter and that no-one’s life was in danger, left the residence.
Nairobi Region police commander Philip Ndolo yesterday said police would not be involved in the alleged upkeep issue, they only visited the residence to restore law and order.
“Our officers only responded to the distress call and contained the situation,” he said.
