Bridge International Academies has developed a free mobile quiz tool that allows children to easily access learning for their grades on WhatsApp.
The Bridge WhatsApp quizzes complement other [email protected] learning products which include Bridge online, self-study activity packs, digital story books and learning guides.
Acting country director bridge Kenya Reuben Wambugu said that [email protected] interactive quizzes is aimed at helping children practice learning at home and retain what they have learned.
“The Bridge mobile interactive quizzes are accessed on WhatsApp number +254 207 640145. Once you are in the chatroom, you begin interaction by typing zero (0) to get started. The quizzes can also be accessed by sending an SMS text 0 to 40100. The quizzes are free and available to all parents and pupils,” reads a statement from Bridge International Academies.
Wambugu explained that parents and caregivers using [email protected] interactive quizzes can select quizzes for their children’s grade and preferred subject.
He added that the free quizzes are simple and friendly to use as they take 3– 10 minutes to complete, and help children stay on a path to academic excellence. After the quiz, users can choose to take the quiz again, try a different subject, or be done.
“The hundreds of grade-appropriate quizzes in multiple subjects provide pupils an opportunity to practice a wide range of skills, from using vocabulary to solving math equations. Pupils receive instant feedback on their success,”
According to the institution, the mobile interactive quizzes make learning easily accessible and enjoyable for children at a time when schools are closed.
“Every quiz your child completes is a step closer to academic excellence and success. Celebrate with them and continue the learning.The quizzes improve learning by helping children test and practice. ,” adds the statement.
The move by the instution comes due to the effects of COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted the education sector.
