Bidco keen to fry opponents as they make debut in top flight football

Premiership newcomers Bidco United have one thing in mind; fight it out with the big boys to stay afloat at the end of the season which kicks-off at the end of next week.
The Thika based side was promoted after finishing second in the Betika Super League during the Covid-19 interrupted season, have vowed to stay on the course and do well.
With 11 new signings coming through in the prolonged transfer window, Bidco now seems set to mount a challenge according to head coach Anthony Akhulia.
They have been in the second tier for six years and by the time they were getting promoted, they were second on the log with 36 points as at amid-season.
Under the tutelage of Akhulia, they shown muscle in a crazy market with 11 new inclusions as they successfully merged experience with youth in what the tactician believes will add balance to his side as they await their debut.
Speaking yesterday to People Sport, Akhulia promised to build a formidable team that will fight head and toe with their competitors. With strong support from parent company Bidco Africa Limited, the team is looking ahead to good tidings.
“Definitely the plan is to go all out and fight with the rest of the pack. It will be a challenge for us but we got here by merit so we might as well show our character.
We are still training on basics to regain match fitness even as we try to bring in new guys to fill up the seven spots available.
We want a complete squad of 30 players when the campaign begins and therefore it is important to get a good balance of youth and experience in our team,” stated Akhulia who rejected any thoughts of being under any pressure.
