Basketball players lose belongings as their car is broken into at Nyayo Stadium

Anyone would feel safe leaving their vehicle parked at a police post and go about their business without a care in the world.

However, reality hit home hard for a few basketball players last week as their vehicle was broken into while parked right outside Nyayo National Stadium Police post.

As the players were sweating it on the court, the culprit made away with their precious belongings which included mobile phones, job IDs, house keys, money as well as their clothes, leaving them stranded in their playing kits.

The items had been placed on the backseat of one of their team-mate’s car, whose window was broken and their bags made away with. Sources close to the victims indicate that the items are yet to be recovered.
