Air Namibia extends suspension of regional, international flights

WINDHOEK,
Namibia's national airline, Air Namibia, has said its suspension of regional and international flights will be extended to Aug. 31, due to ongoing restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The safety of our employees, passengers, and clients remains at the heart of our operations," the airline said in a statement on Tuesday.
Namibia has so far reported 76 confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 21 have recovered and 55 remain active.
From June 30, Namibia's lockdown measures will be eased from stage 3 to stage 4, but points of entry will remain closed except for food and essential supplies. (Xinhua)
