A police officer from Ruiru commits suicide
A police constable from Ruiru police headquaters, Kiambu County has committed suicide inside his house. The officer's body was found hanging from a rope today (Saturday, Oct 19) morning
The officer who cannot be named at this juncture until the family is notified was serving as a driver within the Sub-county police line.
The area police boss Phineas Lingera confirmed the incident adding that the deceased was an 'ever calm' officer. The officer was aged about 40-50 years and he was to be on duty today.

It is not known what pushed the officer to commit suicide. The body was taken to Kenyatta University morgue.
